The Hispanic Society Museum & Library’s Annual Gala is an elegant evening where we celebrate our supporters and honor outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to Hispanic arts, literature, and culture. The black-tie dinner brings together leaders from the realms of philanthropy, art, business, fashion, and the political realm to provide vital operating support to the Hispanic Society.

The 2026 Hispanic Society Gala will take place on Thursday, October 29th at the Metropolitan Club in New York City. This year the Sorolla Medal will be presented to the following distinguished honorees:

Eduardo Costantini, Founder and Chairman of the Museum of Latin American Art in Buenos Aires (MALBA)
Gloria & Emilio Estefan, Cuban-American Musical Artists and Entrepreneurs
Oscar de la Renta (Posthumously), Dominican-American Fashion Designer
